Alan Bell's art is a fusion of dreamtime and waking life. The real life within us is invisible, intangible, and a fleeting moment. To understand one another, it is possible to read the facial expression, the tone of voice, and the body language that accompanies the flux of our emotions and attitudes. Fantasies, daydreams, and desires intersect in our imagination. Bell's paintings reflect these qualities and moments that reveal human experiences and reactions to life. Fear, sorrow, surprise, anger, and happiness all play their part in a day to day lifetime that we, the living, all share. As we navigate the ebb and flow of life, Bell's art serves as a poignant reminder of our shared journey, transcending the boundaries of time and space. Join us for the opening reception on Second Friday, March 8th, 2024 from 5pm-8pm, as we celebrate the timeless allure of "Zeitgeist" and explore the diverse mosaic of human experience.
