A Poetry Celebration

Join us for a vibrant afternoon of artistic expression and literary brilliance at Ultra Silk Gallery on Sunday, April 27th, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, as we honor the voices and visions that shape Black poetry and art.

This Poetry Celebration features a dynamic lineup of poets and artists, including:

Zenobia Lundy: Celebrating the release of her second poetry collection, Prose and Light, a moving exploration of Black identity, history, and resilience. In the words of award-winning author Jaime Grooke, Prose and Light “weaves together personal and collective narratives... offering a cathartic experience that unites us.”

Andrea “Philly” Walls: Multidisciplinary artist, curator of The Museum of Black Joy, and champion of Harlem Renaissance ideals, will present a tribute to poet Lucille Clifton, honoring her legacy through a compelling artistic lens.
